• Cosmopor Transparent is a self-adhesive, transparent film dressing made of a semi-permeable, waterproof, and transparent polyurethane film coated with a polyacrylate adhesive and has an absorbent wound pad in the middle
• The wound pad is made of viscose fibers and covered with a polyethylene mesh which acts as a non-adhering wound contact layer
• The semi-permeable polyurethane film is coated with an adhesive
• The film facilitates the free passage of water vapor and gases and it is waterproof
• Cosmopor transparent can be used for post-operative care of slightly exuding wounds, for protection against bacterial penetration and as a dressing for minor injuries
