- This highly absorbent alginate dressing is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds of practically any size, shape, and depth
- Uses include leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and donor sites, but not for dry or lightly exuding wounds or to control heavy bleeding
- The design and structural integrity of the dressing allow you to cut it to fit the wound, and then it will conform to the wound bed, which is important for the wound healing process
- Dressing consists of 85% calcium alginate and 15% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) for excellent absorption and gel formation which locks exudate inside to help prevent the leakage that can cause maceration of the surrounding skin
