- Highly extensible and conformable dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days; high moisture vapor permeability allows excess exudate to evaporate, helping prevent skin maceration
- Resistant to water and body fluids, allowing the patient to bathe without changing dressings; also aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination.
- Flexible carrier enables single handed application allowing the dressing to conform to body contours while transparency enables accurate positioning over wound site; Flexigrid can be easily cut into strips or shapes for application to awkward areas such as heels, elbows and knees
- Wound measurement grid allows assessments of healing process to be made; after tracing edges of the wound, carrier can be removed and stored in the patient's notes
